Griffwerk produces high-quality door fittings and glass doors for the Interior area. The door handles represent high functionality and unusual design. Griffwerk develop their products at the main seat in Blaustein at the city border to Ulm.

In the DESIGN MANUFAKTUR area, Griffwerk offer designs by renowned designers and design agencies, among them FRAME by Prof. Thomas Gerlach or the CHARACTERS collection by sieger design. Griffwerl is particularly proud to have the only licensed Ulmer Griff handle after a Max Bill design in their portfolio. It was re-edited in 2012 as a homage to the nearby Ulm university for design (Ulmer Hochschule für Gestaltung; Ulmer HFG) in cooperation with the max, binia + jakob bill foundation (Adligenswil).

The owner-managed company was founded as Frascio Deutschland GmbH in 1999 and renamed to GRIFFWERK GmbH in 2013. At the moment, the main site in Southern Germany employs a workforce of 120. Griffwerk consider their success to be reflected in innovative power and strong customer-orientation. Griffwerk develop convincing products for customers, as well as effective sales and marketing concepts. Customer service is of the utmost importance, together with unusual products.
